On a first-come first served basis, Ninave-Cindy volunteered and got the job of writing (and occasionally updating) the everything you need to know about the Comics page at Neilgaiman.com . I was playing today with the Coraline website at mousecircus.com -- it's wonderful, haunting Stephin Merritt music, rats and cats that run across the page, weird easter eggs and suchlike, screensavers and e-cards and everything. I can't wait for it to go live.

E-mail from Jouni: Meg -- Thanks! Great links! Oh, and welcome to the swapmeet. Here, have a fish! I'm currently considering different techniques for the illustrations (black ink would be easiest&quickest&cheapest, but there are other, more challenging options... we'll see), so I'm not entirely sure how long it's going to take, but when I have something worth showing, I'll post it. ;-) Jouni

Jouni - Thanks for the welcome! I'll have to go find a nice bowl for the fish... Good luck on the illustration project! I can't wait to see how it turns out, I went and read the poem and loved it!

I killed a Trojan last night. Proudly I slew it. Deep in my registry it lurked. I gave it no quarter. Nortons had fallen and PestPatrol saw nothing. Still, Keyhook.dll kept appearing from nowhere. Safe, in command mode, that was how I slew it. Which is a DOS prompt, as in the battles of my youth. System32.exe is no more. All of its proud posturing Has gone for nothing. Now it is History. Another dead Trojan. It is one with Achilles And Paris and Helen, and the walls of proud Troy.

Hee. That was good. A daring battle deep in the registry. Verily, I am amused. Saw Star Wars last night. I recommend that everyone a) go see it, and b) bring earplugs for the scenes on Naboo.

neil: you're on crack. hehehehehehehehehe all: okay, I was invisible again for a fortnight. But this time, I'm serious. I'm still (jouni) looking for t-shirt designs (jouni) so that we can do well shirts (jouni) so if anyone (jouni) would like to send me art, please do so? Then we can pick with one or ones we definitely definitely want shirts made from. I'm going to be very official, and say please send them to me by June 15th. There. That's a deadline. Now, I feel all grown up. Here are my doodles: http://ljconstantine.com/wellians but those are only my doodles. ANyone with doodles, email me your doodles and I'll put them up!

Neil, I have been to that computer mental breakdown land, so I won't fault you for going crackers. Tara: I like the designs. I'd be proud to wear all of them. Er...that is to say...not at the same time. Been pretty busy so I haven't posted in a while. I don't think I'll ever fully catch up. *sigh*

Sinony whined as he Said to the city folk "Look at our tribute, This carpentered horse;" Someone objected in Terms hardly metrical; Up coiled some critics and Ate him, of course.

Neil, all hail the fierce warrior! Mike, teehee, very nice! ****** I just got a phone call from Debbie, rousing me from my sick-ish half-sleep, which reminded me: Happy Birthday Mary!!

Taking the day off today. They're shooting a bunch of stuff I'm not in today, and everything else I was supposed to do doesn't really need me, so I'm staying at home and doing dishes and laundry and feeling quite delighted to be doing so. Neil - I salute you. I'd get all cocky and tell you how we mac users don't have to deal with such nonsense, but with OS X, I'm not sure that we're as safe as we used to be. In other matters, the Artistic Director of my company is particularly keen on my adapting Lafferty's "Six Fingers of Time" for the October show. Do you by any chance happen to know of a more direct person to contact about such things than the publisher? His agent, or his estate? Tara - Go, Tara. Go, Tara. Go, Tara. Looking forward to owning one of these shirts soon... Madman - I'd have to agree, Star Wars is certainly worth seeing... although I think that the reliance on CG characters and effects is really hurting the film. Everything just looks so cartoony... the older creatures may not have been very articulate, but they looked like they were made of something real... It's quite a spectacle, though...

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I'm not sure that I'll see Star Wars in the theater. The last one disappointed me for the reasons Dan mentioned above. I'm more excited about Insomnia! Neil- what everyone else said. Hahaha. And I hope everyone is done being sick, and you're back to writing:) It's Mary's Birthday? *skims back through posts* Happy Birthday! Maure- I, too, loved the poem:) Okay. Moby's on TV. I gotta go. Bye-bye.

... who is blaming the worsening of her cold on the beautiful outdoor wedding of her friend Mollie at the Palace of Fine Arts (rotunda) this afternoon. Although the tourists wanting to take photos with all the dressed-up-freaks was kind of amusing (in retrospect). Hey everyone. Sorry I've been sort of gone for a few days. Mostly I just wanted to pop my head in to say YES! and do a little happy dance - for the launch of Coraline will be nearby, allowing me not to have to take on extra hours at work to afford another road trip! Erynn - I'll get back to you on Peter, it happens on Tuesday. Personally, I'm not looking forward to it. I'm getting rather sick of members of Bauhaus choosing *rush hour* for me to have to play driver. Jouni - Yay! Everyone else who posted stuff that I'm too out of it to respond to - insert appropriate witty banter here. squeaks, who loathes cold medication

Erynn, the only thing I would add, though, is that Star Wars is meant to be seen on a big screen. It might change one's experience to watch it on a TV. Just a thought.

mouse/adriana- True. Though I saw the last one on the big screen and really wasn't all that impressed. I hear that this one's better though. So I might. squeaks- I hope your cold gets better. I would be so nervous if I had to drive Mr. Murphy around. I'd probably crash or something while trying to think of something witty to say.... Have fun:) Erynn, now reading The Last Hot Time (and liking it)
