Materials
- dill (Anethum graveolens)
- chives (Allium spp.)
- tarragon (Artemisa dracunculus)
- coriander (Coriandrum sativum)
- fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
- peppermint (Menta spp.)
- basil (Ocimum basilicum)
- oregano (Origanum spp.)
- sage (Salvia officinalis)
- thyme (Thymus spp.)
Instructions
These items may be offered seasonally, fresh or dried. These items may be considered for species other than bats, for frugivores as well as folivores, and for olfactory stimulation.
Cautions
Since items may be consumed, be sure to clear them first with the curator and vet, and offer in small amounts or crush a few leaves here and there around the exhibit.
