Imagining the Information Age: Stories/Visions

I just saw the remnants of a car accident. 23rd and Valencia. Fire Department emergency vehicles, the two cars, a bumper laying on the ground. No people. No ambulance. Just all the business of the post accident, cars being re-routed, people on the street observing the activity. A landmark of tragedy, temporary, familiar to nearly all of us, as we imagine whether the damage inflicted on the vehicles suggests serious, or not-so-serious injury. It caused me to think about how fragile I am. No doubt about it. We are just an accident waiting to happen. Then, well, I guess you'll be staring at the aftermath of my tragedy, and thinking the same thing.
