Bangers and Mash started playing together in 1994, and have been
performing music for English country and historical couple dancing ever
since. We’re regulars at events for PEERS (the Period Events and
Entertainment Recreation Society) as well as for BACDS (the Bay Area Country Dance
Society).
We’ve done a number of formal balls, as well as playing for
innumerable dance series. For fifteen years now we’ve performed at
Fezziwig’s Warehouse, the community dance stage of the Great Dickens Christmas Fair in
San Francisco. We also play weddings, parties and private dances, of
course. Feel free to use the links in the photo caption to contact any
of us for more information about the band’s availability...

Les Bal de Vampires
Alameda Elks’ Lodge

We hope the vampires aren’t shy about coming out for this wonderful ball’s Silver Anniversary. The 25th installment of this fantastic costume ball has two dance floors: we’ll be playing upstairs with traditional terpsichorean tunes, and there will be a discotheque in the basement Rathskeller hall. Finery of all historical periods are welcome, as with all PEERS events, costume is "admired but not required"; event webpage.

Have us play your event
We’re available
to play weddings, private dances and dinners, or grand public
spectacles. While none of us are dancing masters, we are well
acquainted with the Bay Area’s best, and can help you find the
right teacher for your party. Or we can play hours of soothing music
for dinners, wedding receptions, or office parties. Our email links are
above, or you can call Craig at 415/282-1110.
