Planning and installation of STL interconnection, frequency coordination. Planning and implementation of FM boosters, translators and new sudio projects.

KZSC - University of California, Santa Cruz 2001 - present

Originally designed and built station, first as a 10 watt, then 1200 watt, then 10,000 watt, with now completed 20,000 watt license - Assistance with FCC applications, planning. Studio, transmitter construction. Planning and installation of new signal booster in Bonny Doon

KKCR - KAQA Hanalei/Kilauea, Hawaii 1994 - Present

Completed construction in 1997 of new non-commercial service to the Island of Kauai, Hawaii - FCC applications and DOC/NTIA Grant Preparation, consultation on technical issues; Studio and antenna installation. Installation of new FM booster for the North Shore of Kaua'i. Succesful applications for new translators on north shore Oahu and also Anahola, Kaua'i (target date: Summer, 2004).

Pacifica Group Chief Engineer, overseeing 5 Pacifica broadcast facilities in major markets; specification and implementation of ISDN network, KU satellite interconnect system coordination for 60+ affiliate stations; implementation of digital facilities system wide; transmitter and tower replacement project recently completed in Houston, Texas (KPFT); New studio construction in New York City (WBAI); Recently completed new high power (110,000 watts) antenna/tower/transmitter replacement project at KPFK, Los Angeles. WMMT FM Whitesburg, Kentucky July, 1978 - Present

Designed and built new 25,000 watt Public FM facility; installation of tower, transmitter and studio facilities; design and installation of 16 track recording studio; Recent (1992) installation of 8 translators for fringe area reception; October 1995 implementation of 100,000 watt power increase; Successful DOC/NTIA grant application, September, 1994; Recent signal expansion to Russell County, Virginia.

WISE-FM - University of Virginia at Wise, Virginia 1996 - 2003

Designed and built new NPR affiliate FM - Assistance in PTFP and FCC applications, planning. Studio, transmitter construction. Planning and installation of seven translators, STL interconnection.

Cape and Islands WCAI/WNAN - Woods Hole/Nantucket, Massachusetts 1992 - Present

Successful FCC and NTIA applications for new FM facilities at Woods Hole and Nantucket, Massachusetts; Planning and consultation for construction, including coordination with state and federal agencies, RFR studies.

KUSP FM Santa Cruz, California 1972 - 2000
Recently completed projects include replacement of entire studio and transmitter facilities; Planning for installation of new 50,000 watt repeater in adjacent service area; upgrade of translator and booster systems; Digital conversion for interconnection facilities; Successful DOC/NTIA Construction grant application, September, 1994.

Alpine Broadcasting, Ltd. Sun Valley, Idaho 1988 - 2002

Recent installation of new Sun Valley FM (KYZK); 1998 completion of new high power (98,000 watts) broadcast transmitter facility for Alpine at Island Park, Idaho; project supervision and transmitter/combiner installation. Studio rebuild of KSKI, Sun Valley, including STL network design and installation; frequency coordination with SBE coordinators.
