Mental Illness is caused by Fragmentation

Mental illness, all mental illness, is caused and maintained by mental fragmentation. Fragmentation of the mind into conflicting mental fragments; which have each separately achieved serious importance through accidental subconscious mis-identification of them as essential elements of the center/self/ego.

Most common are conflicts between psychological fragments in the nature of should and should not. And, self-images and contradictions to those self-images. And, more generally, between desire and intelligence.

Immense discontent with such instability and illness is the essential ingredient for successful elimination of them; such immense discontent automatically supplying the necessary stamina and energy.

A whole mind is a healthy mind.
