In this multimedia era, I have outlived my time. Nevertheless, in the Doctor's office,
heads turn when my name is called. I know they know who am by the way that they look at me.
These days there are few painters of my stature who have lived to enjoy a
little adulation and enough money to be comfortable. Some would say,
putting me in a separate category because of my gender, few women
painters. But none of us have been given the recognition we deserve.
