On the day of the Fluxus lecture, her students arrived with boxes of all materials and shapes. And artists' notebooks. The afternoon began with much trading of boxes and segued into mockups of box objects and discussions of potential content.

This week, to complete their box objects, some students would arrive with drawings or small paintings or photos or texts or cutouts. Others would arrive with small sculptures or found objects There was no predicting what they would bring.
