Caydance told Jean Brown the story that began with how she had been commissioned to find the creator of an artists book with a lock but no key and segued into a detailed description of this object. "I have made slides that I can send you if you are willing to take a look."
Jean agreed that the work in question was unlikely to be made by Maciunas himself but that the artist who made it knew Maciunas' work. She would be interested in seeing the slides.
