In the years since Edelira had returned home to Miami to work in Little Havana with street artists and musicians, a certain amount of wild energy -- begun at Cal in a Freshman dorm-- had disappeared from Caydance's life.

But recently whether it was oft-cited Little Havana exchanges with Mission District clubs or the elusive Juanjose, with whom she stayed, Edelira had been flying frequently to the City of San Francisco.
