Out the window, the sun was setting on San Francisco Bay.
"I do not want to watch the game film of The Big Game tonight or tomorrow night", Griff said to Caydance.
On her studio table were the notebooks she kept for each student's work -- into which she wrote notes about their final projects. When the semester ended, it was her practice to give each student a written crit about their work in her class on Artists Books: Lineage and Creative Practice.
But, it had been a long day, and that night there was only one thing that Caydance and Griff wanted to do.

they were starting on a dessert of champagne and Frasier, a French cake created with of layers of sponge cake, custard, whipped cream, and fresh, sliced strawberries.
