"Alter Ego is a show about the construction of different body. In real life, we are mundane and realistic, whereas in the digital realm, we are the constructors of reality; of what is “real” and what is not. Through the usage of new technologies such as Photoshop, Maya, or even Facetune, we have now been able to seamlessly reach the uncanny valley, creating idealized versions not only of ourselves but of the subjects we photograph. Each of the artists in this show reflect the new futurity of the alter ego."
