California cheese, green chilis, sour cream, fresh salsa,
homemade tortillas wrapped in white linen napkins.
And -- like a display in a museum where the curators seek to convey
the beauty of translucent bottles full of beer
and the allure of the colorful scenes on their labels --
many bottles of beers from all over the world
were set on ice in an antique bathtub.
