Some of you have kindly asked what foods you can offer me without running into my inconveniently widespread food restrictions. Thank you for asking, and here's what I recommend/request as of Summer 2000:
(These may or may not be OK, depending on season, quantity, and other factors.)
Assuming that they're not mingled with ingredients that I avoid, I'm comfortable eating rice, eggs, vegetable or chicken soup, steamed or roasted or stir-fried or microwaved vegetables, cooked grains in general, fish, chicken, pasta, unsugared breads, tofu, walnuts, filberts, peanuts, pecans, fresh and unsugared canned fruit (other than citrus and figs), goat yogurt, and goat and sheep cheeses. The list of things I can comfortably eat has been expanding, slowly, over the last year or two, so feel free to ask about anything you don't see listed here. My email address is karensu@well.com.
