A Research Note: Principal repositories of copies of the above, archival collections, and other John Bell Condliffe materials, are the institutions where he worked: among these,
In addition, though, many other major "document" and "text" collections throughout the world -- "digital" libraries all, now, and all now accessible via the Internet -- hold copies of some of these materials: invaluable resources for locating and data-mining these already include WorldCat and GoogleBooks and Europeana and Le Catalogue Collectif de France (CCF) and, increasingly, many other fascinating and useful techniques and approaches to the grand old problem of doing long-distance research -- so, just ask any local "librarian"! -- they have lots of new tricks -- "research" has changed greatly, since JBC used to sit at his desk, in the early mornings, writing out his manuscripts longhand with his fountain pen...
