Greetings, living one. You stand on the shores of the dreaded Lake Hadeshorn. Be careful not to touch its poisonous waters! The slightest touch brings instant death to the bodies of mortals, but their souls live on forever in torment in the inky black waters of Lake Hadeshorn.
In life, I was the Druid Allanon, the last Druid of Paranor. In death, I have existed here, in these waters, for many centuries. I chose this existence purposely, so that as the last Druid, I would be able to give advice to those who come seeking my help.
What aid would you have of me, traveler from afar? Dally not, as I grow weary, and soon must return to the waters until another night.
