| Meier, like his father, was a Horse Dealer
by trade. He lived in Lichdied in the Surgical University Hospital in Giessen,
on August 11, 1931 at a quarter to nine. His death was sudden as the result
of a car accident. The following is a synopsys of a translation of an article
in the jewish newspaper recording Meier's passing: "There was big congregation
at this funeral of many religious.... Meier had been very popular and had
gained a high reputation for his integrity and honesty and his loyalty to
the Jewish religion. Meier Bing leaves behind a wife and two children." |
