Chocolate Pudding

(adapted from The Fannie Farmer Cookbook )

I love to make this in the morning and eat it warm for breakfast!

In a heavy saucepan or double boiler, heat gently
2 c half and half (half milk, half cream)
Mix together in small bowl
3 Tbsp cornstarch
4 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp cocoa powder (Mozart Cocoa is the most awesome)
1/8 tsp salt
and add to milk, mixing thoroughly.

Stir constantly as mixture heats and thickens. This should take 5-10 minutes. When thickened, cook a few more minutes, then remove from heat.

Stir in
1 tsp vanilla
and pour into cups or dish and cool. Eat warm or chill. 4 servings (sort of!).
