Arches National Park at about 7 o'clock in the morning (by 10am, the
park was so thick with visitors that one couldn't stop and get out of
the car because all parking spaces were full).
David, riding through Arches
Landscape Arch
Last time we saw it (in 1989), the arch was thicker and we could walk
around underneath it. A large sheet of rock fell from the arch sometime
after our first visit, and the trail up to the arch was closed down.
The pale blue blob right around the center of the photo? That's a person
who's taking a closer look at a pair of windows near Landscape Arch.
