Mexico, 2003
The house was about 600 square feet. The main room had a kitchen on one side and a living/dining room on the other. There was a small bedroom and a tiny bathroom with a surprisingly large, fully tiled shower.

The kitchen cooking equipment was basic, but it was still a pleasure to experiment with local ingredients.

What's for lunch? Blue corn tortillas with refried beans, chicken mole, steamed broccoli on the side, plus iced hibiscus tea.

Check out the neighborhood!
