The older architecture

Though I vaguely remembered the terra cotta tiled rooves and the wrought iron balcony work of Sydney's old homes from when I lived there, I had forgotten just how lovely they were. While many of these treasures were destroyed in the name of architectural progress since I left the country, many others have been saved through restoration.


This narrow lane of row houses sits back to back with the Surrey Hills place my roommates and I rented in 1972
