Angler fish -- AKA monkfish -- is called "rap" in Catalonia. These fish are fairly large, the mouths are perhaps six inches across, the needle-like teeth look vicious, and there's a coating of slime on the skin that drips in viscous strings reminiscent of a toddler with a bad cold.

Once you get past that, however, they're great eating!
