Same church, front view

Looking downward from the top of the church steps.

Though Charlemagne ousted the Moors from Girona in the 8th century, their architectural influence was still evident more than half a millennium later when the gray stone building on the far side of the staircase was built.

At the bottom of the stairs you can see a cluster of tables and chairs in the courtyard. They're connected to the burnt orange building's ground-floor cafe, which in the '50s hosted Beat luminaries such as Allen Ginsberg and Peter Orlovsky.

Look on the other side of the courtyard and you'll see somebody standing next to a window. Here's a close-up of the window:
