Developments from the June 14, 2000 Waterfront Commission meeting

Summary:

I withdrew my proposed revision to the ordinance when it was clear that there was little support for it on the Commission at that time.

Staff also withdrew it's own proposal for the Marina Ordinance revisions that affect the Bait Shop.

This leaves us with the status quo for the remainder of the summer fishing season. Charter fishing vessels are presumably under no obligation to use the booking services of the Bait Shop, or to pay a percentage of their revenue for such services, unless separate agreements are in force between the affected parties.
