A great egret waits patiently for something interesting to
float out of the Strawberry Creek culvert into the South
Sailing Basin.
Although opposed by CESP and the Sierra Club, there are proposals circulating to restore salt marshes at some of the creek outflows for habitat enhancement and water quality improvement. |
