Aslam Alaikum,
I was just wondering what your parents and family think of your choice,
if they know at all and also how old are you and how old were you when
you realized that you were gay?

Dear Sulayman X,
I just came from the Queer Jihad page and I was very interested in keeping
a
copy of your "Islam and Homosexuality: An Alternative Point of View",
but
somehow I just cannot print the pages. The printer always gets stalled
but
when I print other pages that are outside of Queer Jihad homepage,
the
printer prints. Is there some "security code" there or you just do
not allow
printing of your pages? Some info. would very much be appreciated.
Oh, BTW,
I support you and thanks very much for having the "Queer" homesite
... very
scary to read some of the messages that you have received from the
so-called
Muslims. Where did they go wrong? Ta!
Johan M.
There are no restrictions that I know of. You could try saving the
page and then printing it later. - Sulayman X
Think...If you are muslim, you should not being such like Sodom's.
Assalamu alaikum, Brothers,
Being a homosexual Muslim
shouldn't be as complicated as you make it
sound.
Allah gives each of us personal obstacles in our lives in order to
test us.
He makes some of us alcoholics,
and tells us not to drink.
He makes some of us greedy,
and tells us to share.
He makes some of us lustful,
and tells us not to fornicate.
AND He makes some of us
homosexuals, and tells us not to commit
homosexual
acts.
Islam, unlike Christianity,
teaches that the sin is in the action,
not the
thought.

Dear Sulayman X,
I am a muslim and in search of gay friends. I live in Hurst, DFW.
Let me
know
how to contact some organizations where one can find them.
Tim.
Sulayman,
You seem to have this brilliant ability to know what Allah intends by
everything and the meaning of His Book despite the fact that it is
all
against what has been agreed upon for centuries.
What I don't understand, is your open slander of the Prophet (SAWS)
and the
Book of Allah. Is that what they taught you when you converted 'many
years
ago'? You know that the religion is perfect.....so why do you attempt
to
change it?
I feel that you are a 'Muslim' who cannot control his desires and so
know is
looking for sympathy and love from other people because you are looking
to
justify yourself.
Accept that what you do is wrong and repent.........stop this act and
concentrate on worshipping your Creator. Allah (SWT) wisdom is unchallenged
and we cannot seek to explain the meanings of His rulings. We accept
them
and act upon them...not turn on them and try to justify it.
Reading the comments, I feel hatred at no-one but the Muslims you have
turned away from the True Path. The Muslims who write offensive letters
are
angry as am I and they wish to release their anger. Then other Muslims
write
I wish not to condemn Muslims and then go and condemn the Muslims who
write
offensive letters.....double standards?
Sulayman....turn to your Creator.....supplicate and ask Him for help
in this
matter....we all need Him and at all times. I love Allah but I also
fear Him
and have wept from the fear and then people like yourself come and
speak so
arrogantly against Islam...the way of your Creator.
You know Sulayman and you know it in your heart that you will not go
to
Paradise in this state.......so at least do the two acts of not dragging
the
Muslims into the Hell Fire with you and removing this web site.
You will find both these acts simple if you really are a Muslim as you
claim.

This is Michael Twitty, writing from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against
Defamation. I am an intern working on the Cultural Interest Media
Project.
The goal of the project is to diversify GLAAD's efforts as a watchdog
organization, to broaden to perspective to include as diverse a group
as
possible in defeating print and non-print forms of homophobia. Please
feel
free to send us any information you can regarding your organization
so that
it may be included in the CIM database. We are interested in
creating a
mechanism by which individuals such as yourself would be able to speak
for
gay Muslim rights if media-bashing should occur.
Please write also to my e mail address at Proff97 @aol.com
I was very pleased to see such a scholarly and well written Islamic
gay
perspective and encourage you in your future efforts. Al-Hamdilulah.
Shukran,
M. Twitty
I read your e mail, and I understand your cause. But as a hetrosexual
and fundemently as a Muslim, you cannot go around moaning about your
freedom, when Islam through the ranks denounced it, I don't think
Allah created Hdraat Hawa (A.S) if Allah rendered the idea of
homosexuality, all religions denounce it. May Allah give you the
light to step out of Ignorance and the darkness Shatan has put you
in.
To The Hell-Fire dwellers, Sulayman and friends
I cannot begin to tell you dotards, who happen
to possess
incomplete minds how surprised I was to find this material in the
internet. Gay Muslims! How far have you transgressors went regarding
transgressing the laws of the Almighty Lord. I was searching for Islamic
Universities, but Alas, this is what I find.
I would like to hear how you converted to Islam,
for I have never
heard of such a sinful convert. In case you haven't heard yet, Islam
means the submission to the will of God. That might be a sentence that
you have failed to understand, or is willingly rejecting. So, you have
two choices, you could submit yourself to the will of the Almighty
Lord,
and be a Muslim, or you could be gay and call yourself something else.
It is not fair or right for someone to dare call themselves Muslims
and
still commit such evil sins with such pride.
Your minds are simply polluted beyond all bounds
and I pity your
mothers for going through so much pain for those who aren't worth a
handful of peasant feces. I give you and all your followers the glad
tidings that you will be the dwellers of the hell fire.
I read some of the comments from people who wrote
to you fools.
Although I agree with them that what you are doing is sinful and wrong,
I don't understand why they were communicating to you idiots the way
people communicate to each other. You are not only worthy of being
called Muslims, but human beings also. For the Almighty Lord has given
human beings the power to think and reason, and showed them the way
to
salvation, and you fools do not fit the descriptions. It's bad enough
that you and your supporters have gone so far astray to became guys,
but
you have taken the responsibility of preaching the "truth" to millions
of people. I cannot wait to see the Almighty Lord humiliating you on
the
day of judgment. By the way, if I'll ever see you, or your supporter,
I
will gladly torture and torment you till death. And after that, the
angels will torment you on your graves, then you will mercilessly taste
the wrath of your Lord in hell fire. You might as well start to look
forward for that inevitable event.
I've never been described as "not worth a handful of peasant feces"
but I have had other good Muslims like you talk about how they would "gladly"
torture and torment me to death, all in the name of Islam, of course, and
all because they are much better Muslims than I am. If I were you, I wouldn't
be too eager to "see the Almight Lord humiliating" me on the Day of Judgement
-- I have a strange feeling you'll be standing right next to me waiting
your turn. Unless, of course, they drag you off into the depths with all
the other sadists. -- Sulayman X
I beg...please...please...please....please leave the Muslims alone!!!
We do not need this crap. Clear slagging off of the Quran and the
Prophet Muhammed (SAWS)...are you sure your not Salman Rusdie??
I know your lost but I ask the Muslims all over the world to boycott
this site......straight or gay. LEAVE IT BEFORE IT TAKES YOU INTO THE
FIRE WITH THIS THING called Mr X
Mr X...your a funny old chap. Think your above the Quran and Sunnah?
You
make me laugh!
PLEASE ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS. DO NOT FEEDS THIS MAN'S POCKET. HE
PROBABLY RECEIVES A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR ALL THE STUPID ADVERTS HE
DOES.
Muslims do not accept Homosexuality. The Question never arose before
because there were non around.....Its only a recent fantasy. But guys
just concentrate on your worship of Allah swt and forget this rubbish
by
prat man...Allah does not accept it...WE DO NOT.
FEAR ALLAH....FEAR THE FIRE.....LET MR I.D.I.O.T (I mean X) go into
the
Fire.
May Allah remove the Shaytan from within you. Ameen

Fags are people that take part in sodomy. Note, this does not include
people who may be attracted to members of the same sex, but do not
act
upon these desires because of their fear of Allah. As it is clearly
stated in the Quran that performing homosexual ACTS will lead you to
the
HELL-FIRE.
To the author of this site:
Die of AIDS, you flaming faggot for misleading people with your bullshit
theories. Get a real Islamic education.
PEOPLE WHO PERFORM HOMOSEXUAL ACTS WILL BURN IN HELL
HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL HELL
I suppose a "real Islamic education" consists in REPEATING REPEATING
REPEATING REPEATING REPEATING REPEATING REPEATING REPEATING REPEATING REPEATING
REPEATING things? - Sulayman X
Well done Mr T, U, X (Which ever one)
It seems like you have won your jihad......
Because as a Shaytan you have managed to take not only yourself but
also
other Innocent Muslims into the Hell Fire who seem to have some far
fetched idea that your Ok.
Oh ya please don't use Jihad in your title....its a term for Muslims
Enjoy Hell

Assalaamu'alaikum
a few months ago, i found your site. you guessed it, i was shocked.
looking for some information on Mehraaj, i saw your link and wanted
to see
if you were still persisting. as someone questionning my sexuality,
i
realised i was looking for an excuse to do something that is forbidden
in
Islam, something that i felt was wrong in my heart. your site
made me
realise how far i had strayed from the straight path. if you
are a true
Muslim, you should try to follow Allah's best example of a human being:
Muhammad (saw). There is NO mention of him ever having homosexual
tendancies. and this is not open to speculation. The truth
of Islam as
sent down by Allah (swt) is eternal and is not open to innovation.
A
person's sexual desires are to be kept in check and not broadcast,
no matter
what their orientation may be. Obviously, this is a very important
part of
your life, you have, after all, set up a web site on this topic.
you argue
that there is no specific interdiction of homosexuality. but
there is also
no mention of its validity either. Where there is doubt, you
must ALWAYS
take the route of no doubt. And here, that would mean heterosexuality.
You
always have a choice no matter how much you feel that there is none.
If you don't intend to act on your impulses, what is the point in
proclaiming your homosexuality and dedicating this site to the subject?
Is
it not totally irrelevant if we are only to be judged by our good and
bad
deeds? Sexuality is not important unless it causes someone to
sin - gay or
not. What is the exact purpose of the acceptance that you want?
Of course
there is hatred towards you, you'll find a level of intolerance from
every
population today towards gays, not just from Muslims. But if
you turn to
Allah (swt) in sincerity, He will guide you. It's not something
to be
"eradicated", you just have to face that there is no place for gay
people in
Islam. Half of being Muslim is marrying and creating an environment
for
bringing up kids on the path of Islam, not on the path of the Western
world
or its ideologies. Remember that we are all born in a state of
fitrah and
that the Qur'aan was revealed to Muhammad (saw)for all people in all
times -
not just for those who lived hundreds of years ago. Just because
we live in
a more "tolerant" society, it does not mean that we should do the things
that are still nevertheless forbidden or disapproved of in Islam.
Of course, it is your right to love somebody (a response to another
comment). But more than to love the Beloved of Allah (saw), or
more than to
fear Allah (swt)? i think not. Ultimately, this is my opinion
which will
help you to see the error of your ways, Insha'Allah. But, at
the end of the
day, you are the only one accountable for your errors. Think
about the
Hereafter a little more.
Salaam
khalid
Excellent job, keep the good work going. I would like to inform you
that I
have changed the address of my homepage about Egypt (Egypt - Gay Life)
and
the new address is:
http://welcome.to/GayEgypt
Thank you for the effort you are doing.
See you in hell !
See you burn in HELL !
Yes, and thank you for sending this important message 750 times.
Don't you have anything better to do? - Sulayman X
"And remember when we sent lot (as a messenger) to his people and he
said to
them:Do you realize you practice an indecency of which no other people
in
the
world were guilty of before you? You approach men lustfully in
place of
women. You are a people who exceed all bounds. Their only
answer was:
'Banish them from your town. They are a people who pretend to be pure.
Then
we delivered Lot and his household save his wife who stayed behind,
and we
let
loose a shower of stones upon them. Observe, then the end of the
evil-doers."
7: 80-84 (al-araf), the holy quran
You see,the Quran clearly says that your punishment for homosexuality
will
be
death by stoning (and should be).
What are you people spreading? A muslim CANNOT be gay.
We all know that in the Qur'an, GOD has specifically mentioned that
we
are being tested on Earth to see if we deserve to go to Heaven in the
afterlife. So lets assume therefore that being gay is one of the
challenges that GOD has assigned to certain individuals. It is up to
these individuals to succumb to the temptations of homosexual sex or
to
work against it. Gay people have to work VERY hard not to follow their
base desires and I think that the purpose of all religion is to make
humans not be slaves to their base desires (shahwat). I think being
gay
itself is NOT A SIN, what is condemned are homosexual acts namely
sodomy.
So why are some people gay? Well, we might never know. The latest
scientific research has not come to any conclusion, the nurture-nature
debate will continue.
So what should a gay Muslim do? Well, what the Prophet has recommended
is that single males fast frequently to tone down their libidos. Should
gay Muslims forces themselves to turn straight? Maybe. Well, I know
this
is a very contentious issue. But lets assume that being gay is no
different from being greedy, stingy, arrogant or deceitful. The Prophet
has taught us that people who are greedy, stingy, arrogant and deceitful
will not taste Heaven. What should these people do? Well they should
ask
GOD for forgiveness and correct their ways. It is VERY difficult for
someone who has always been a tight-wad to start being generous or
an
arrogant, successful person to be humble and soft-spoken. It takes
effort and a sincere wanting to be near GOD and follow the Prophet's
teachings. The Qur'an has many more passages warning the stingy,
arrogant, greedy, deceitful and quarrelsome about GOD's wrath than
condemning gay people.
Gay life in not a good alternative. The "tolerant" Western communities
are not really good places for gays either. Gays in many Western nations
are just as preoccupied with casual sex, pornography and entertainment
(drinking, dancing, partying)as straight people. Gays in the West are
not really showing themselves to be better individuals than straight
people. They are not more loving to their "spouses" nor more faithful.
Thus moving back to the gay Muslim individual, he/she should concentrate
on being good Muslims. Avoid all that Allah has warned Muslims against.
Gay Muslims need not force themselves to get married. There are many
other things they can do to serve GOD.
Gay Muslims should also NOT blame GOD or their parents for "turning"
or
"making" them gay. There are other Muslims who have been given must
greater challenges from GOD than gay people. If a gay Muslim is angry
at
GOD for making life difficult for him, just think, would he rather
be
gay and physically normal or straight but blind (for example). Or would
he prefer to be straight but living in a very poor society with no
education, health care, sanitation and proper food?
