This is a rare Hopi Needlepoint in Sterling Silver and turquoise from
a private vault collection. The center Medallion has 53 perfectly
matched stones, each with a silver accent point. The center star is
surrounded by rolled silver decoratives and braid. The design is completed

side. The perfect balance of design and execution is remarkable.

meticulous, traditional designs worked into the band around the entire
cuff. Center granulation off sets the linear patterns. This is a rare,

against these Nomads combine with severe desertification to make already
difficult conditions almost impossible for today’s artisans.

This solid silver Tuareg bangle bracelet weighs in at 3.4 oz. or 96.4
grams. It was made to commemorate the multiple crossing of the jagged
Atlas Mountains by a local trader. The spine of this bangle is ridged
with peaks and an incised ridge and etched triangles, which symbolize
the mountains, are carved into the top decorative of nine rounded
balls. Balls adorn the ends to make it a smooth fit despite its weight.

patterns off set the traditional raised four corners of the center

rare piece is carried on traditional black braided string tied off
with leather bands.
