Navajo 1

Contemporary artisanship at its finest. A superior green turquoise with spider web gold vein is bezel set in Sterling Silver. Five tapered silver bars underlie the stone and wrap to a comfortable open back.

A spectacular example of Zuni inlay mosaic work, this Zuni dancer is adorned in turquoise, coral, jet and mother of pearl and sits in a bed of mother of pearl. The dancer is surrounded by 18 perfectly matched polished coral ovals and an inner ring of sterling silver braid. A delicate three bar bracelet wraps to the back.

Zuni Needlepoint

This is a rare Hopi Needlepoint in Sterling Silver and turquoise from a private vault collection. The center Medallion has 53 perfectly matched stones, each with a silver accent point. The center star is surrounded by rolled silver decoratives and braid. The design is completed with 14 matched stones fanning across the bracelet frame on either side. The perfect balance of design and execution is remarkable.

Tuareg Cuff

This one of a kind, Sterling Silver Tuareg cuff is 3.6” long with meticulous, traditional designs worked into the band around the entire cuff. Center granulation off sets the linear patterns. This is a rare, fine piece from the Tuareg of Niger where continued military skirmishes against these Nomads combine with severe desertification to make already difficult conditions almost impossible for today’s artisans.

Tuareg Solid Silver Bangle

This solid silver Tuareg bangle bracelet weighs in at 3.4 oz. or 96.4 grams. It was made to commemorate the multiple crossing of the jagged Atlas Mountains by a local trader. The spine of this bangle is ridged with peaks and an incised ridge and etched triangles, which symbolize the mountains, are carved into the top decorative of nine rounded balls. Balls adorn the ends to make it a smooth fit despite its weight.

This three dimensional Antique Ghomesh was hand crafted in Agadez, Niger by a Tuareg artisan. Corner granulation and etched Tuareg geometric patterns off set the traditional raised four corners of the center design. A center ball sits atop layers of copper and ebony. This extremely rare piece is carried on traditional black braided string tied off with leather bands.
