Urban Development Projects BENOA HARBOUR - PROJECT METHODOLOGY
Pre-implementation feasibility was accomplished over a nine-month period The study process was iterative and multi disciplinary involving specialist inputs from over 20 companies based in four countries. Study programs were synchronized with activities of Indonesian university research teams and government agencies. Process and financial management was coordinated via linked computer based reporting systems supervised by project managers based in Perth, Jakarta and Bali. In addition to identifying a number of development opportunities, the study process made clear that significant constraints on development existed from an environmental and engineering point of view Projects initiated and completed upon delivery of the feasibility findings have included: - Extensions and formalisation of Indonesia’s largest urban mangrove national park, - Extensions and infrastructure works on Serangan Island valued at US$ 100 Million |
