cov-chan is demonstration software designed as a practical example of covert
timing channel communication. it's in super-pre-alpha stage right now, as I
busted my hump to get it working for a presentation. It's been tested on one
platform and one harware configuration-my crappy little laptop.

very alpha software.

to compile:
gcc -O3 -o trans trans.c
gcc -o receive receive.c
note that I intended to not optimize the receiver. this screws it up. trust me

usage:
./receive on one terminal
./trans <message> on another

look for results on the receiver. there will be a digit at the end of either
output. If it isn't '3' keep restarting until it is.

TODO:
fix the calibration loops. they're fairly useless right now, but will be
necessary for faster systems.

note: this was developed last minute for a presentation on a 166mhz system with 48M of RAM. The calibration that I hardcoded in will probably fuck up on
decent systems.
