This pre-encoding preserves the original appearance of most special Unicode characters
when posted by Engaged or Picospan and veiwed in browser or ssh terminal.
(Picospan UTF-8 users should copy only the [Engaged] portion and post it with the original characters)

About this tool:
These plain text Western characters conflict with UTF-8 “”‘’¡¿—´·¸«»ˆ˜–‚„‹›€£¥¢©®§™†‡•…‰µ¶¤¦¬¯°º¹²³¨ª×÷±¼½¾ØøÁÉÍÓÚÝáéíóúýÄËÏÖÜŸäëïöüÀÈÌÒÙàèìòùÂÊÎÔÛâêîôûÃÑÕãñõÅåÆæßþÞÇçÐŒœƒðŠšŽž
They are converted by this tool into HTML Entities like \&x123; for Engaged and byte-coded for Picospan.
All Unicode characters can be posted but they must be encoded in two different ways for the WELL.
These examples require using two different coding methods to be readable in both Engaged and Picospan:
