Master Bathroom

The master bathroom is a rather typical 5-piece setup, with a lot of atypical touches. In all of the upstairs bathrooms, there is a row of different accent tile that runs around the sinks and through the showers. In the showers this row is usuaslly embellished or doubled, as you can see in the mirror's reflection. The cabinets are the same lovely light maple as downstairs, and the sink counter is a deep green. We can't WAIT to move in here after two-plus years of dealing with our current, cramped, barely-fits-two-people-with-only-one-sink bathroom. Plenty of room on this countertop!

A close-up of the great light fixtures. I love the wild, organic leafiness of these!

A little more detail on the tub. One of the neatest things about this tub area is the window shades. The shades either pull up like regular accordion shades, or the other side pulls down so that you can get the natural light in through the open tops of the windows, but keep the shades covering the lower part to preserve your privacy (and modesty!) We thought these were just too cool. They're nicely translucent too, so that we get lots of light through them even when they're fully drawn.

This is a bad closeup of the accent tile, but hopefully it will give you a slightly better idea of what it looks like.
