I spend way too much time at this desk. But, then again, I do enjoy building stuff.
My time these days is devoted to getting someone else to use the tools I spent the last couple of years building. It seems straight forward and even trivial to me. But then, I have been working in this style for a long time.
I have always been a tool smith. But, since I have been a wage slave for most of my career, The tools I built in the past belonged to someone else. These last few years I have been building things I don't have to walk away from when things change.
I got lucky last August when an old friend and former colleague got laid off. I pitched what I had been working on, and he went for it. We tidied up things a bit, and then asked family and friends to check it out. Now, we're getting bold and asking people not so invested in us to give the thing a whack.
