(skeptic) aka: Henry Mahon

I spend way too much time at this desk. But, then again, I do enjoy building stuff.

My time these days is devoted to getting someone else to use the tools I spent the last couple of years building. It seems straight forward and even trivial to me. But then, I have been working in this style for a long time.

I have always been a tool smith. But, since I have been a wage slave for most of my career, The tools I built in the past belonged to someone else. These last few years I have been building things I don't have to walk away from when things change.

I got lucky last August when an old friend and former colleague got laid off. I pitched what I had been working on, and he went for it. We tidied up things a bit, and then asked family and friends to check it out. Now, we're getting bold and asking people not so invested in us to give the thing a whack.

I have some other interests

For example, here is my favorite Well picture. I got to take it while on holiday a few years ago. Drank the water from a tin cup ladel, clean clear and cold. We are in the middle of Siberia and it is still winter!

I have seen other pictures of this building, but they didn't capture the detail of the stonesmith's efforts to make stone look like molded clay. This shot get conversations going.

Also in Barcelona, I like this one because it speaks to the layered nature of the park as well as the intricate nature of the myriad of cubby holes.
