Tracy Arm is a 25 mile long fjord that leads to Sawyer Glacier. The views along the way
are almost as incredible as the glacier itself....but not quite.

The cliff walls along the fjord are 2,000 to 4,000 feet high, and drop 1000 feet straight down under water.
There are beautiful waterfalls, hanging glaciers and deep valleys all along the way. And icebergs! Will this
be our Titanic moment?

The appearance of the deep blue 'heart ice' from the glacier is a sign
that we're getting close.

The ice field gets thicker the closer you get to the glacier, and the icebergs get bigger. It's a little intimidating
when you realize that you're in a very narrow channel filled with ice, and that the Star Princess is the largest
vessel ever to navigate Tracy Arm, but reassuring knowing that they've done this before.

It's all worth it, though, when you get up close and personal with Sawyer Glacier. It really is one of
those experiences that can only be described as awe-inspiring.
