Congrats on the house
Hope the medical emergency turned out OK
Hope your wife and the babies had lots of cool stories from Disney
World

And at least you got to go. I'm sure the experience was the important
thing.

your startup company before attending the con.

Many Fiddler's Green pics (including Neil and Rocky, who is wearing
the mask she bought at auction) have been posted here:

I didn't post them, so don't blame me for making you squander your
time.

I found my way here thanks to you and Johanna - so I thought I'd stop
and say hello. The pictures are quite alright from the e-mails I've
been getting.

And I'm a new - which means not only I don't know how to post, but
should know better than to think this was just a thread.

Can some kind soul explain to me, or point me, how this works?

Hi, Georgia! The Well doesn't do threads, so don't worry about that. Just
post any response to anything above, any hellos or new things Neilish you
want to talk about, right in this one topic.

It's fine--you haven't done anything wrong!

Hey Georgia! Welcome to the Well. When I tell people it's a lot like
GEnie, they usually say "that's not very helpful," so I've stopped
saying it.

Basically, the Well is divided by conferences. Conferences are
divided by topics. Within a topic all messages are in chronological
order.

The most important thing to remember is that we were all new once, and
we are happy that you are here.

Michelle, thanks for the photos! I'm highly amused that you caught me on my
side of the room at the finale (I'm in your #70, with Sharon & Jouni). Just
in case you wanted to see the finale from the other side of the room (only
blurrier):

Welcome, Georgia!

Hi, Kathy! Great pictures! Thanks!

Someday I'm going to get mine developed & see if I have anything worth
keeping.

getting un-put-downable. Bugger.)

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I'm new all around - having found Sandman and American Gods by way of
Coraline and the other 2 children books. It's odd since I've been
reading comics for some time (mostly Alan Moore and Batman), but better
late than never.

My question is, other than American Gods - which I found interesting
since it's so full of folklore and mythology - is there any other book
of his anybody recommends?

And I really want the Graveyard book to come out.

I'm so tempted to just name everything that hasn't already been named. But
my fav is Stardust (the graphic novel version).

I dearly love Neverwhere. Maybe it's just that I love the Marquis. I
also recommend Smoke & Mirrors--I loan that one out a lot to get
people hooked.

Mary (who has found her Perdido Street Station, and would like to
finish reading now, thank you)
