Imagining the Information Age: Stories/Visions

Writing is what I may have to do to get through to my children (who are not yet born). It will not be enough to ask if they are happy, to find out what they did in school today, to pat them as they pass--I will have to tell them my story. I will have to tell them this story so that they can understand why it is that I have come to understand that it is not enough that my father asks, "Are you happy?" and pats me as I pass.

Listening sometimes happens in telling. I have much to tell.
