Here's what it says about politics on my profile page at DreamWidth Studios: "Politically, I mostly vote for Democrats, and strongly disapprove of Donald Trump. However, my preferred political label is 'moderate' (or, for those with some tolerance for apparent paradox, 'radical moderate')."
A Bastille Day Toast: I imagine President Trump offering a toast, on the occasion of his visit to France in July, 2017. The words that I put in his mouth imply that he is arrogant and ignorant of history (which he is, right?). Also available as a PDF file.
Mueller Tells All: This is an imaginary interview, which will occur [redacted] years in the future, in which Robert Mueller, Special Counsel, finally reveals what he was really thinking when he gave his news conference of March 29, 2019. (The interviewer, who also functions as Mueller's "anger translator," is Robert De Niro.) (PDF file, added 2019-06-01)
The Decline and Fall of Donald Trump: This is a subsection of this Politics section, rather than a single document. Its contents will pertain to the events set in motion when, on Tuesday, 2019-09-24, the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives began a "formal impeachment inquiry" concerning President Trump.
Your Vote and Your Life: On the surface, this is a suggested advertisement for Joe Biden's campaign, concerning the coronavirus. Under the surface, it's more general: it tries to show how you can do political persuasion without alienating the person that you are trying to persuade.
