This materialized idea of reliving a once-upon-a-time culture of artists working in private homes had taken place from June to September in over 50 Belgian homes with work by about the same number of artists -- each creating work in reaction to the contents of a room or two in their allotted home. A catalog was available, but she knew no one who had actually been there and had, with Map in hand, spent days exploring the exhibition.

As a part of Chambres d'Amis, in a personal library in the home of an art historian, Robin Winters had drawn images from the books. Inserted the drawings into the books themselves. Reshelved the books, so that viewers would need to remove the books from the shelves to see his drawings.
