The road along the Russian River was a favorite drive. Before it ran into Guerneville, near a bend in that road, late one August morning, Caydance had stopped at the Korbel winery and bought a bottle of champagne to take to lunch with Tiara and Cory, two woman artists, who lived together in a restored cabin on the outskirts of Guerneville.
