this is a re-working of piece #89. scribed to reflect some recent sentiments toward the sort of duties in life prescribed as necessities in the prevailing beliefs of the time. those obligations that are expected of us all as social congenialities; and yet, seem unaligned with the nature and temperament of a sizeable proportion of currently recognized personality types.

such broad castings of convention, with small regard for their suitedness to the whole spectrum of dispositions and perspectives that are evident among us, are; therefore, questionable in their justiication as embraceable customs and principles, and perhaps overly relied upon in stoking the motivations and endeavors toward fulfillment of those less inclined toward normative penchants of society.

so, in choosing to engage these obligations with the stoic optimism that can be an emotional shield for those of Ehnian character, i composed this during the summarizing examinations that concluded my 2009 hibernation.
