Minyon Falls is a highlight of Nightcap National Park. Here we are at a
lookout platform across the valley from the falls.
We walk through the forest on a ridgetop fire road for a couple kilometers
to get to the falls. Hey! What's that thing circled on that dead branch down
there?
A carpet python, of course. It's curled up to take a little snooze
and soak up some afternoon sun. (Note for camera geeks: the zoom on
