Utah, Spring 2010: Photographing Kodachrome

Kodachrome Basin State Park is yet another gem amidst the jewels of Utah's scenic wonders. We are entranced with the spires, hoodoos, and other amazing rock formations there. It looks like a wonderful, under-visited place to camp, too. We are delighted to finally see it after reading about it online when planning our trip.

And it appears that Kodachrome is happy to see us, too.

Very happy, judging by this ... um ... unusual rock formation.

Though this looks much like a scrum of Australian termite mounds, at a towering 60 feet this figure is nearly 10 times as large.
