Co-author of "Planet Cat" and nationally known cat expert Arden Moore
will be joining us in the Inkwell from January 23-February 6.

Professor Richard Wiseman, author of "Quirkology: How We Discover the
Big Truths in Small Things", will join us from January 9-23 to discuss
all manner of quirky psychological effects.  Perhaps the best

May 28. Clay is a consultant and NYU teacher who's known for his incisive

We're going to have Brendan Koerner in Inkwell from July 23 - August
6, discussing his book "Now the hell will start", which Publisher's
Weekly describes as an "engrossing story [that] illuminates one of
WWII’s fiascos as well as the disgraceful treatment of black soldiers
during that era."

Beginning on AUgust 6, Paul Alexander will be in Inkwell.vue discussing his
book, "Machiavelli's Shadow: The Rise and Fall of Karl Rove".  The book is
the first critical look at how Rove's desire to politicize every issue upon
which he advised President Bush ultimately led to his own downfall.

Paul Alexander has written for Time, The New York Times Magazine, Rolling
Stone, The Nation, and The Village VOice, to name a few.  If you're

On February 18, we'll begin a discussion of Laura Miller's "The
Magician's Book - A Skeptic's Adventures in Narnia." 

Miller's examination of her lifelong relationship to C.S. Lewis'
masterwork starts with an analysis of Narnia's timeless appeal to
children, moves on to a critical examination of the author himself, and
finally searches for the root of Narnia's resonance for all readers.
