That's OK, 'cuz Neil already told us about it. <eg> Glen, I spotted
that Destruction one for you immediately! I hope you win it.

Heh, I just realized who was bidding on one of the skirts and
remembered I hadn't posted about the auctions here yet... guess I don't
need to. Thanks!

And I *totally* knew you'd bid on that one... ;)

Yay for translations!

Congrats on new family members.

And somehow I doubt you'll be the ONLY person there in Austin. :P

Off to go to bed so I can wake up in 4.5 hours to take someone to the
airport...

Awesome!

She gave you her phone numbers as well, right? If not, I have them.

I forget if some of you were from Washington State, but if so, there's
a 16-year-old missing there: http://codeamber.org/lopezwa/

On a happier note, are Mousey et. al. still into batties? These ones
save rainforest:

shellefly and curgoth, who are bidding on the Delerium and Dream
skirts, are on my LiveJournal friends list. As is neeuqdrazil, who is
bidding on one of (miss-mousey)'s other skirts.

cute bat earrings.

And it's good to have friends who understand the importance of free

Being financially unstrapped is always nice. :)

And I'm thoroughly convinced that the world is shrinking. That round
of eBay auctions got me in touch with several people I had sort of lost
track of over the past couple of years. And it also (re?)introduced me
to someone who saw my eBay ID (bafog1) and wrote me a note on
LiveJournal asking simply "Thingie?". Shrinking. Soon it might even
turn microscopic.

Why the heck are "midiclorians" pronounced "mitoclorians," anyway?

Yeah, in _The Phantom Menace_ they are. i.e., the first "i" is long,
like they're about to say "mitochondria." When I finally saw it
spelled, I was puzzled; what's the Force got to do with a digital
musical interface anyway?

Don't do it! The only thing that could be worse than viewing them the
second time is watching them again.

Go dig out your Neverwhere DVDs instead.

Heh, this house has been Crispin Glover obsessed recently. Our last
movie night was a viewing of Willard. And (not that I'd have had to do
much convincing) now it looks like I won't have to beg/barter to get
the boy to come to see Beowulf when it comes out. (for those who don't
read Neil's journal, it's been announced that Crispin Glover will
likely play the role of Grendel in Neil & Roger Avary's Beowulf) :)

And maybe by then I'll be fully recovered from "These Boots", as sung
(?) by Crispin Glover. Maybe...

Two weeks translating the blog and it seems most people writing in are
sore about their city not being included in the tour. I'd start on the
fact it has been quite some time Brazil has had the pleasure - or even
that some fans will travel (notshakespeare, have you decided?) to
attend a signing... but I keep my own opinions to myself and just try
to think in two languages at the same time.

If anybody here speaks Spanish or French, check out the other two
translation pages. They are doing such a great job!

neilgaimanfr.blogspot.com/

I did get a really nice e-mail from a girl here thanking me for the
work. It's not really work, more like a good excuse to read the blog
more assiduously than before. It's full of cool links and things I
never heard of before, and that are cool when checked out. My insomnia
now has purpose - though I'll still watch the odd Chopper show.
