spent at least $119 million on a super PAC supporting Mr. Trump and
has held events on his behalf in Pennsylvania. He and Mr. Trump talk

Democrats fear that Mr. Musk may use his personal feed on X to
promote election misinformation. In the weeks leading up to Tuesday,
Mr. Musk has posted raw data on early votes to falsely suggest that
Mr. Trump has an insurmountable lead in places like Pennsylvania,
and he has shared his concerns about the reliability of voting
machines.

"The massive early voting turnout before Tuesday was driven partly
by Republican voters ..." Yeah? I'll be it was driven in part by

PBS is reporting that there has been a seven-hour line to vote at
Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and election officials
are trying to bring in more voting machines.
  

    

If anyone needs a break from following the presidential race, there
are 10 ballot measures to add abortion protections to state
constitutions to watch: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland,
Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York and South Dakota.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice is projected to flip state’s Senate
seat for Republicans, smoothing path toward a GOP majority
Justice beat Wheeling Mayor Glenn Elliott (D), according to the
Associated Press. The two-term governor captured the Senate seat
vacated by Sen. Joe Manchin in the red state, helping Republicans
come closer to seizing the Senate majority.

Rep. Andy Kim (D) is projected to win ex-Sen. Bob Menendez’s seat in
New Jersey, keeping it in Democratic hands
Kim, a three-term House representative, beat Republican hotelier
Curtis Bashaw, according to the Associated Press. Menendez resigned
from the Senate and withdrew his independent Senate candidacy in
August, after he was convicted on federal bribery charges. Kim is
the first candidate of Asian American descent to win federal office

I'm very interested in a bunch of state issues here in Colorado, but
we won't be called for a while yet.
  

    
If you, like I, need to have TV on - PBS is doing a good job. I
started with NBC, CBS and was immediately on my last nerve. PBS not
so hysterical and they have a good big panel of opinionators
including Amy Walter who's one of my faves.
  

    
I agree about PBS. I have PBS with sound up on the tablet and ABC
(via Hulu) muted on the TV.

There are some important House races here in NY:

17th district: Republican Rep. Mike Lawler versus former Democratic
Rep. Mondaire Jones. This district is composed of suburbs north of
NYC. 

4th district: Republican Rep. Anthony D’Esposito facing Democratic
challenger Laura Gillen. This is in Nassau County, on Long Island
(east of NYC).

18th district: Democratic Rep. Pat Ryan against Republican Alison
Esposito. Another north-of-NYC suburban district.

19th district: Republican Rep. Marc Molinaro versus Democratic
attorney Josh Riley. This district covers a huge swath of the state
(or as we in NYC condescendingly call it, "upstate"), from the
Catskills Mountains all the way to the southern Finger Lakes.
  

    
Trump's the projected winner in Florida, Indiana, and Kentucky;
Harris in Vermont.
  

    
I'm listening to KUT, the NPR station in Austin, and checking Facebook and 
twitter. I had the TV on for five minutes but I just can't stand it.
