How it works

Here you see a the icons which represent the various functions. Each shape, including the oval, represents a basic function in the formal language.

We can think of each icon as a particular issue or conversation relating to how the organization works. For any organization to work well, all the issues must be covered. If there is a change in how the organization does something it is important to check each of the other functions to see that it is still being covered adequately.
