New archaeological discoveries are happening so fast
that 5-year-old books and even websites are already badly out of date. These pages are an attempt to correlate the very latest relationships in prehistory and early history. ------------------ Basics were from: Oppenheimer's books / Bradshaw Foundation site / http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hm/01/hm01.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zodiac in order of Precession (reverse of zodiac used for astrology): Aquarius - turn towards galactic center Capricorn Sagittarius ------------- intersects ecliptic ------------ Scorpio Libra Virgo Leo - turn away from galactic center Cancer Gemini -------------- intersects ecliptic ------------ Taurus Aries Pisces |
Numbers used for the Precession of the Equinoxes: Gods of Eden: precession: each zodiac sign period: 25,920 divided by 12 = 2160 years (Time that the equinoctial sun occupies each zodiacal constellation) Earth spends 12960 years in each half of precession. From crop circle analysis: 72 = total number of years it takes for one ?degree? of precessional movement. 2160 = Total number of years it takes to move one zodiac sign through the precessional cycle. 12960 = Total number of years to complete half the precessional cycle. The precession cycle is not a fixed number of years. We often approximate it, scientifically as 25,780 years per great year, or astrologically as 25,920 with twelve periods of 2160 years each. The astrological approximation was derived to coincide with an approximation of 72 years per degree of precession. However, it is important to realize that the numerical methods are only approximate. The period of the precessional year decreases by 11 years every century. [site]
