Updates

1999. Website created in Tokyo

2002-2005. Graduate work in East Asian Literatures and Civilizations/Japanese (EALC) from UC Boulder, Colorado. No time to update the website.

August 2005. Graduated and returned to Japan. Start reviving the website.

06apr01. Moved to Nakayama, in the Yokohama suburbs. Sign up for cable internet. Reconsider website.

06oct18. Uploaded revised Yokohama section, including Kiki the cat's page. Currently revising all pages and photos.

2007 January. 2361 viewers. Start the year with updates, format cleanups and initiate switch html to xhtml. In progress.

2008 April. 17,920 viewers. Why so many viewers when I haven't done anything in the last 1.5 year? I've been working too much to do anything with this website. However, I've just moved back to Tokyo, to the Ryogoku area-a fine, old-fashioned full of sumo and other non-standardized sights.

2008 May. Major readjustments of the site continue. Readers: 19,000.

2008 August. Revised pages: Trains, Escalators, Covers. Readers: 20,905.
